Dear Reader,
Thank you for your interest in my book. I hope it gives you enjoyment should you read it, yet more so, I hope it guides you down a redemptive path for your life.
In a lot of ways, I resemble the characters in my book, especially Klarissa's spiritual fight when life didn't make sense. The poem that Klarissa writes in Chapter 96 was one in my own journal, written when I was a confused and depressed 17-year-old. I'm living proof that God can transform ashes into beauty.
If I could offer you some advice, confront your pain—don't run from it. Deal with it, hurt from it, wrestle with God over it. Diamonds aren't crafted by comfort and ease. It's through intense pressure and heat.
My soul is forever and overwhelmingly grateful to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who pulled me from darkness and brought me into his glorious light. I only desire to be a good and faithful servant.
