I tried taking Sylvia out back to get a couple pictures. She wasn’t too happy about it, but I did manage to get a couple keepers.

As I’m sure you’ve already noticed I’m actually going through some of my own pictures. Here are a few of Sylvia a couple weeks ago smelling Uncle Dan & Auntie Chelle’s flowers. She makes the funniest face when she tries to smell something.

This girl never stops. Last week she poured herself a bowl of Cherrios all over my bedroom floor!
Even though I begged him not to (and yes – he lied straight to my face), Scott threw me a wonderful surprise 30th birthday party last weekend. He knows all too well how nosy I am – he planned it almost a month early so that I wouldn’t be suspicious at all. Well it worked. We went out for dinner and then to my mom’s for what was supposed to be a family bonfire. I was completely shocked to see a bunch of my friends and family there too. My sister Betsy and her boyfriend Nick flew in from DC with my niece Stella. It was so wonderful to see them, even though we missed my other sister, Amy. And I really couldn’t believe my good friend Heather came all the way from Seattle. I hadn’t seen her for over 7 years! We had a great weekend catching up.
I actually went the entire weekend without taking a single picture, but Scott snapped this one of Heather and me in front of the house we used to live in:

This is what happens when I turn away for about 5 seconds. I guess I need to teach her how to use a spoon a little better!

Today was Scott’s Grandma’s 80th birthday. I happened to capture this picture of her and Sylvia and thought it was precious!

Sylvia loves bananas! This morning she wanted one. As my independent child she wanted nothing to do with me feeding her though. She took a bite and didn’t even take it out of her mouth till the entire thing was gone. I finally had to take it away from her when she started eating the peel!

Seriously all of your images are just amazing! I am so inspired to take some 18 month pics of my little Ryan now! I have been waiting for a little more natural light though! Hopefully tomorrow the sun will shine again! The very last pic of Sylvia is just gorgeous! What lens did you use for these?
