Candy Cane

The candy canes on our tree seem to be disappearing rather quick. This little girl likes to help herself – wrappers and all.

Halloween

I really can’t believe I haven’t posted my photos yet. Well here they are almost a month late. Nicholas wanted to be Star Wars this year, so we found him a Clone Trooper costume with a “Life Saver”.

Pretty scary huh? He wanted to wear his mask on his belly.

And Sylvia – she was a dahlia fairy. She wasn’t too thrilled with getting dressed, but after we filled her pumpkin with candy she happily posed for a few pictures

We took the kids to Halloween Hullabaloo at church where they played games and got candy. Nicholas even got to pick a goldfish.

Sadly, Goldfish (Nicholas picked the name) only lasted a week. Here he is with a ‘couple’ flakes of food :)

Fishing

Nicholas and his friend Kyle enjoyed a night of fishing in the church pond tonight.  The outdoor club had it stocked with fish and invited the kids to come and fish.  It was freezing but they had a good time.

Love These Guys

Nicholas wanted to hold Sylvia while they watched her favorite show this morning – Sesame Street.  Aren’t they precious?

Little Grasshopper

Sunday, while we were outside, I saw the cutest little grasshopper.  I was showing Sylvia how softly touching it’s back would make it hop.  She played with it for a few minutes, gently using her foot to make it fly away so she could chase it down again.  Well lets just say her foot got a little too heavy and this is the last picture I have of that poor little grasshopper…0280 9-27-2009 Sylvia & GRasshopper

She even started clapping for herself as she walked away – like it was a job well done…

Rub-a-dub-dub

Wednesdays are Grammie days. My mom watches all the grandkids at her house and it gives us moms some (much needed) free time. Since my kids were the only ones she was watching this morning, we decided to go to Target together. Nicholas wasn’t too thrilled with the idea till Grammie bribed him with a new Thomas boat for the tub. He even got to play with it in her big tub with lots of bubbles, which allowed me to get some cute pictures.
