One Year (a Few Months Late)

Fathers Day

This year we spent the day out at Holland State Park to visit Scott’s Dad and sisters who are camping there. I was so bummed because I forgot my camera. But I did manage to make up for the lack of pictures during the day when we went to the pool later that night.

That night was the first time Sylvia had her very own ice cream cone. I’m pretty sure she enjoyed every second of it!

Cottage

The beginning of June our family spent 2 weeks at the cottage. It wasn’t very warm during our time there, but we found plenty to keep us busy.

Nicholas caught his very first fish right off the dock with Alex’s fishing pole. He was so excited about it that we had to go and buy him his own pole so he could do it more the next day.

Bath Time

We took the kids out for ice cream tonight and they were a sticky mess. Since it was so hot outside, instead of putting them in the tub, we decided to clean them up in their pool. We even put bubbles in it and washed their hair with the hose.

Summer Fun

Nicholas loves playing outside. Especially if it involves his cousins and water. He spent the entire evening playing in Dan & Chelle’s new pool last night. His cousins let him spray them with the hose and he was lovin it!

Exciting Things

So its been forever since I last updated this blog. I’ve actually been working an an exciting new project with a good friend of mine for the last few months. Unfortunately my blog has taken a back seat while we work out a lot of the details. Hopefully I will be able to give more info soon. I’m still snapping everyday pictures of my kids which I’ll share here after I get a chance to go through.

Another exciting thing – I can now fit Sylvia’s mullet into pig tails. Someday maybe the rest of her hair will fit too, but for now this is pretty exciting to me.
